Piles of plastic left after renovations at a tattoo studio

We cleared out a space for a tattoo parlor in the Catcart neighborhood of Glasgow (UK) and just finished the cosmetic renovations. The backyard is now piled high with boxes, pieces of linoleum, and protective plastic sheeting. The neighbors in the building are already starting to give us dirty looks, but I’m reluctant to order a huge empty container just for a couple of cubic meters of stuff. Has anyone in the UK dealt with this kind of household clutter before? How can we get rid of all this cheaply and without unnecessary red tape?

Yeah, it’s a familiar story—neighbors in the UK complain to the council at the slightest provocation.
